I am a preschooler...
"I am very excited to be going to school! Everyday I learn more about the people in my environment. Playing with my friends is sometimes a little challenging since I am still learning about their emotions and feelings. I am excited to see my friends at school, but some days I am nervous to leave my mom and dad behind." "I can't wait to grow up. I want to know how and why things work. I want to read the paper like Daddy and write shopping lists like Mommy. Preschool is a great adventure where I can develop my reading, writing and creative art skills. I feel so good about myself when I learn new skills like counting, writing my name and tying my shoes." |
Here at K-Prep...
We understand your child's need to be a 'big kid' while remaining in a loving, nurturing environment. Our multi-age classroom and low teacher-child ratio allows your child to develop a variety of relationships that help strengthen confidence and promote a healthy self image. We take the time to teach our students about their emotions, how to express their needs, and solve everyday conflicts with their peers. We know how important it is for your child to feel grown up. We offer our students opportunities to develop responsibility and be helpers in the classroom. Our small group learning environment allows us to meet your child at his/her skill level and teach in a way that meets his/her individual need. In addition to writing and reading basic words and letters, we offer time for creative movements and arts, outdoor and free play. Throughout the day your preschooler can get involved in a group activity, read a book, play make-believe with a friend, assist a teacher, learn to solve a conflict or take time to work independently on a new skill. |
